A US Air Force B-1B Lancer(Bottom) deployed to Andersen Air Base, Guam, and two F-15K Slam Eagles assigned to Daegu Air Base, Republic of Korea, fly over ROK skies September 21, 2016. An American strategic bomber landed in South Korea on Wednesday in a show of force the US said was aimed at reminding Pyongyang of its powerful military assets in the region. The flight was the closest a B-1 has ever flown to the border between the ROK and North Korea. The move comes a day after North Korea claimed it had successfully tested a new, high-powered rocket engine which the South said was designed to demonstrate progress towards attaining a long-range missile. / AFP PHOTO / 51st Fighter Wing Public Affairs / Chief Master Sgt.
