They all last stayed at Center For Providing Services In The Community, Osijek, Croatia before being offered an apartment as part of the ???organized housing with support program??? led by the director of ???Center For Providing Services In The Community??? Ladislav Lamza, which aims to have beneficiaries move from the institution into the community on 17 December 2014. Gabriejela says ??sI like that I can now watch the TV series I like. In the institution we all had to watch the same TV program.??? Hrvoje says ??sI like that it is not crowded here. In the institution there is always someone yelling. Here I have my own room and I have peace.??? Nada says ??sMy nephew visits me here and we talk on the phone every week. When I was at the institution he never visited me there.??? Their Organized Housing Assistant Zeljka Bircic says ??sThey often say they like that they can cook what they want. In the home they didn???t get to choose what they want to eat on a daily basis.??? Zeljka adds ??sthey are more relaxed, and feel more at home. There is a significant improval in their well being. They get much more attention towards their individual needs. We can focus much more on their individual mental health needs.??? Occupational Therapist Nera Frank adds ??sIt???s not just popping pills and go to the psychiatrist. We didn???t have the time. We had 130 people waiting. Now a lot of our beneficiaries can significantly reduce their medication just by giving them more time and an individual approach.???
