Smoke is emitting from the chimneys at a brick factory on the outskirts of Dhaka, Bangladesh, on November 30, 2024. These brick factories are contributing to heavy air pollution in Bangladesh. The Air Quality Life Index (AQLI) rates Bangladesh as one of the most polluted countries in the world. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), air pollution is responsible for the deaths of an estimated seven million people worldwide every year.
