UK: Enoch Powell in Birmingham, West Midlands, 1974, Powell attacked the prime minister when he made speech at the Get Britain Out campaign - an anti common market movement. BLACK and white images showing Brits campaigning against joining the EU have been revealed as the country gears up for a ?no deal? Brexit. The series of historical pictures showed Conservative MP Enoch Powell signing copies of his book, The Common Market: The Case Against, at the Conservative anti-common market centre in October 1971 and making an empowered speech at a rally organised by the ?Get Britain Out Campaign? in Birmingham, UK, in 1974. Further monochrome images taken during the 1960s and 1970s showed members of the public protesting and holding boards inscribed with anti-EU messaging outside Caxton Hall, Westminster, London, in September 1961. The shots have been unearthed by the TopFoto archives as Britain gears up for a ?no deal? Brexit. Mediadrumimages/TopFoto
