(dpa files) - Gudrun Ensslin, a terrorist of the German terrorist group RAF (Rote Armee Fraktion/Red Army Fraction) pictured during a trial in Frankfurt, West Germany, 31 October 1972. In 1968 the student of German language and literature studies was convicted to three years in prison for the arson bombing of two Frankfurt department stores with her boyfriend Andreas Baader. After the 'Baader-Meinhof' Trial, which had started in 1975, Ensslin was convicted along with Baader and Raspe of murder and other counts, and sentenced to life. In the morning of 18 October 1977 Baader, Raspe and Ensslin were found dead in their prison cells.
