Participants of the Five Lakes Skating Tour are being transported on a tractor to avoid a stretch of bad ice in Wanneperveen, near Giethoorn, northern Netherlands, Thursday Jan. 24, 2013. Some 15,000 skating enthusiasts participated in the first tour on natural ice, but a stretch of rapidly deteriorating ice in Wanneperveen forced organizers to call off the tour after a few hours. Dutch police later stopped people from reaching the area. (AP Photo/Peter Dejong), APTOPIX
