Anthony Ross shines the shoes of Chicago mayoral candidate Lori Lightfoot at the Shoe King shop in Austin on Chicago's west side. "I have real good faith in her" Ross said of Lightfoot. Lori Lightfoot, a former federal prosecutor and president of the Chicago Police Board, is in a run-off election to become the 45th Mayor of Chicago. Her opponent, Toni Preckwinkle, is the Cook County Democratic Party chairwoman as well as the county board president. No matter the outcome, Chicago will elect its first black woman as mayor.
