The Netherlands - Rotterdam -05-06-2019 - Islamic Hogeschool Rotterdam loses competence. The Dutch minister of Education, Ingrid van Engelshoven, has determined that the Islamic educational institution Europe Islamic University of Applied Sciences (EIUAS) at the Statenweg in Rotterdam-Blijdorp is no longer allowed to call itself a college. The institution also loses its power to grant degrees, reports the Ministry of Education. The school provided the HBO master's degree in Islamic spiritual care.
