Yugoslavian President Slobodan Milosevic addresses journalists 11 March 1993 in the courtyard of the Elysee Palace in Paris after his talks with French President Mitterrand. Milosevic, 63 in 2005, faces more than 60 charges of genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes for his role in the three major conflicts that tore Yugoslavia apart -- in Croatia from 1991 to 1995, in Bosnia (1992-95) and in Kosovo (1998-99). Judges at the United Nations war crimes court have adjourned 20 April 2005 the trial of Slobodan Milosevic after medical reports showed that the former Yugoslav president is suffering from "dangerously high" blood pressure and faces the risk of a cardio-vascular attack.
