Ten year old Jean Louis and his father Jean Louis (same name correct) were injured when a German Grenade was thrown into a group of French citizens outside the town of St. Sauveur in Canada, June 19, 1944. Suffering a crushed hand and leg injuries the boy was taken to an American first aid station in the forward area for treatment. His father suffered leg injuries. (AP Photo)
