Liberated slave workers outside a factory mess hall in Germany on Sept. 19, 1945. This underground factory is captured by the 2nd Battalion 311th Infantry Regiment, U.S. First Army. The 78th ??sLightning??? Regiment U.S. First Army liberated those slave Laborers who lived in caves in the nearby Germany factory.
