Queen Elizabeth II stands to the right of the open Crypt in Windsor Castle's St. George's Chapel, England on Feb. 16, 1952 as the body of her father, King George VI is lowered. She sprinkles soil from the castle grounds on the coffin. At the foot the crypt is the widowed Queen Mother in front of Princess Margaret and Mary and the four Royal Dukes. On the altar side of the crypt, the Archbishop of Canterbury (left) reads the service alongside Lord Clarendon, Lord Chamber. (AP Photo)
