Al Reich, a prizefighter friend of Dr. John F. Condon, 72 year old Fordham University instructor, who accompanied the aged instructor on his last trip to meet an emissary of the Lindberg kidnapers and hand over the $35,000 ransom money in a designated spot St. Raymond???s Cemetery, the Bronx, New York City. Travelling with Reich, were also, according to reports, Col. Lindbergh and Col. Henry Breckenridge, lawyer. The three men were a short distance away as Dr. Condon handed over the money, receiving in exchange a note telling where the child could be found.
