Photograph of the crowd which gathered in front of the county court house at Hartford, Conn., on March 5, 1934. when Henry Johnson, a deckhand, was held for questioning in connection with the Lindbergh kidnapping case after his automobile containing a milk bottle was found in that city. Johnson was employed on the yacht of Thomas W. Lamont. At writing the questioning had not obtained any definite results, although it was established he was a friend of Miss Betty Gow, Lindbergh nurse.
