Major James J. Tunney, in the uniform he wore at the inaugural ceremonies for Governor Wilbur Cross of Connecticut on Jan. 7, 1931 in Hartford, Conn. Tunney is in the Marine Corps branch of the Connecticut state naval Militia and attached to the Governor???s staff.
