Skulls are gathered for a mass burial at Wakiso, a trading center 12 miles northwest of the Uganda capital, Kampala, Jan. 22, 1986. The skulls and the remains of hundreds of other massacre victims were found in areas around the capital shortly after President Milton Obote was overthrown in a July 27 military coup. Government soldiers have been accused of killing thousands of civilians during Obote's 4 1/2 year regime. (AP Photo)
