The Alaska Marine Highway System fast ferry Fairweather arrives in Skagway, Alaska, in this July 2, 2004 photo. The Fairweather was taken out of service after clipping pier and cutting the lines of a moored cruise ship Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2004, in Skagway, according to state and Coast Guard officials. No injuries were reported and there was no metal-to-metal contact between the vessels. The Department of Transportation said the Fairweather will be out of service until further notice.
