Two miniature pistols and two deadly cigarette cases, developed by the Soviet secret police, fell into western hands through the defection of Russian intelligence Captain Nikolai E. Khokhlov. Weapons were shown at April 22,1954, news conference in Bonn, German where Khokhlov told newsmen he defected rather than kill Georgi Sergeyvich Okolovich, member of an anti-Soviet organization in Frankfurt. Cigarete cases projected hollow point bullets containing poison through fake cigarettes, while miniature pistols fired bullets while making a sound less than the snap of a finger. Tray with various kinds oof amunition is in background. (AP Phboto/Gillhausen)
