The giant steel frame for a glass skywalk is under construction on the Hualapai Indian Reservation Thursday, Dec. 7, 2006 along the western end of the Grand Canyon. The Hualapai, a struggling Indian tribe is hoping to change its fortunes by luring tourists out over the edge of the Grand Canyon on a glass-bottom observation deck 4,000 feet above the Colorado River. The deck, called the Skywalk is a horseshoe-shaped walkway that will jut from the canyon's lip. (AP Photo/Jake Bacon)
