An osprey strengthens its nest along the New River, Jacksonville, N.C. as ospreys return to the area to breed. This one tends to nest reconstruction along the New River in Jacksonville, N.C. Thursday afternoon March 1, 2012. The artificial platform was quickly erected after the tree wich house the original nest was accidentally destroyed by construction workers.
