Polish nuns pry along thousands of Chatolics during an open air mass at Blonia esplanade in Krakow, 07 April 2005. Some 60,000 young Poles gathered today in the central Market Square in Krakow for a silent march in homage to Polish-born Pope John Paul II. At 5:00 pm (1500 GMT), the youths, most of whom were dressed in white, some carrying white flowers, set off for Blonia esplanade, the vast field on the edge of Krakow, where the pope celebrated mass for some three million people on his last visit to his native country, in August 2002.
