Walka ze smogiem w Kaliforni - Redux
LOS ANGELES, CA | August 10, 2017 A lawn mower sits in a hermetically sealed shed to measure the evaporative qualities of this two-stroke engine. The California Air Resources Board's Arie Jan Haagen-Smit Laboratory tests the emissions on thousands of cars, motorcycles, lawnmowers, boats, and other things with engines annually. The facility is named for Haagen-Smit a Dutch scientist who discovered the link between vehicle emissions and L.A. smog.
