(NYT49) GHAZALIYA, Iraq -- Jan. 27, 2007 -- IRAQ-UNRAVEL-REVIEW-3 -- A security station in Ghazaliya, Baghdad in January 2007. A main element of the "surge" is the creation of security stations in the neighborhoods where the worst fighting has been taking place. The first station was established in Ghazaliya about 10 days ago. Planners envision at least 20 such sites, placed in the most-troubled neighborhoods.
