(NYT13) VORE BUFFALO JUMP, Wyo. -- WILD-WEST-ROADTRIP-5 -- The rolling hills of northeastern Wyoming hold a fascinating history of settlement and conflicts. Vore Buffalo Jump where some 20,000 bison were driven over the edge to their death by Native Americans between 1500 and 1800 is one of the most spectacular archeological sites in the world. A truck with a camper attached drove through the Vore Buffalo Jump on I-90 in May, 2006. (Anne Sherwood/The New York Times)
