(NYT57) NEW YORK -- Oct. 28, 2005 -- Adv. for Sun., Oct. 30 -- SHOCK-JOCK-MOVIE -- Luis Jimenez at the 97.9 FM radio station in New York on Monday, Oct. 24, 2005. "El Vacilon: The Movie" opened Oct. 21 in 21 mostly packed venues. Such enthusiasm stems mostly from the appeal of Jimenez, the 35-year-old writer and co-producer of the movie, who for the last 12 years has also been the quick-witted, bawdy and beloved co-host of "El Vacilon de la Manana" radio show, on which the movie is based.
