(NYT33) LEW ORLEANS, La. -- Oct. 5, 2005 -- ADVANCE FOR SUNDAY, OCT. 9, 2005 -- ORLEANS-ARCHITECTURE-2 -- Kevin Martin, a pump operator who kept Station No. 1 in New Orleans running until the levees broke, is pictured on Sept. 26, 2005.
