(NYT20) UNDATED -- Feb. 17, 2005 -- CARS-WARNING-SIGNALS -- Greg Amy of Middletown, Ct. has been able to override gadgets in his Audi S4 with a few keystrokes and software adjustments by connecting his Dell computer via a standard USB connector cord under the dash to the car's factory diagnostic port; using a program by Ross Tech called Vag Com he can check the fault codes and set options to his own standards.
