(NYT41) LAUGHARNE, Wales -- May 10, 2004 -- WALES-DYLAN-THOMAS -- To begin at the beginning. Or perhaps the end. It was in the Welsh village of Laugharne, beside what he called a Bible-black sea that the poet Dylan Thomas crafted and drafted many of his works before his death at 39 in 1953. Brown's Hotel, the pub that Dylan Thomas used in Laugharne as seen on April 29, 2004, has been sold to a consortium fronted by actor Neil Morrisey that has also bought two other properties in the town.
