(NYT60) NEW YORK -- June 6, 2004 -- NY-SUBWAY-PHOTOS-2 -- In a solo act of civil disobedience, Kenneth Nelson took camera in hand and chose a perspective alongside the tracks on the L line at 14th Street on Sunday, June 6, 2004. Meeting at Grand Central Terminal, photographers rode the trains for upward of an hour, shutters clicking, flashes popping, in a filmed rebuke to the idea that photography is somehow a national security threat.
