(NYT29) NEW YORK -- Oct. 4, 2003 -- NY-FREEDOM-RIDE -- A woman cheers during a rally for immigrant rights at Flushing Meadows Corona Park, Saturday, Oct. 4, 2003 in Queens, N.Y. The group was part of the Immigrants Freedom Ride, which hopes to raise awareness of their struggle for better wages, rights and working conditions. The Immigrants Freedom Ride also stopped in Washington and other major U.S. cities during a weeklong, cross-country tour.
