(NYT21) SAN FRANCISCO -- Oct. 28, 2003 -- DEMS-JACKSON -- The Rev. Jesse Jackson is once again on the campaign trail. He was in California stumping against the recall of Gov. Gray Davis, a Democrat. He was in Connecticut marching with Yale University employees working without a contract. He has been attacking a Texas plan to redraw election districts. What he is not doing is hitting the presidential trail for any of the nine candidates seeking the Democratic presidential nomination. Gov. Davis with Jackson in San Francisco, Sept. 16, 2003.
