(NYT21) NEW YORK -- October 22, 2003 -- Advance for Sunday, Oct. 26 -- CALATRAVA-ARCHITECTURE -- Santiago Calatrava was commissioned last summer to design a transportation hub at the World Trade Center site. Calatrava has been sworn to secrecy by the his client, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, but clearly he has grand ambitions for the station.
