(NYT16) COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- March 1, 2003 -- MILITARY-SEXUAL-ASSAULTS -- Early last year, a panel created in part to help address the problem of sexual assault within the military found itself under fire. Advisers said they thought the panel was fostering what one called "radical feminism'' and was no longer needed because women had been fully integrated into the military. At the Air Force Academy, in Colorado Springs, Colo., a motto on a stone bridge sends the wrong message, says a former adviser to the military on women's issues.
