(NYT97) NEW YORK -- Sept. 17, 2003 -- WTC-SITE-PLAN-2 -- Rebuilding officials released a revised and expanded master plan for the World Trade Center site Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2003, that includes a taller, slimmer set of office towers surrounding the central memorial area and a large new park immediately to the south. Daniel Libeskind explained the changes in his plan for ground zero, Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2003. Libeskind and officials are trying to placate relatives of the victims.
