(NYT14) NEW YORK -- September 9, 2003 -- TRINITY-CHURCH-ORGAN -- An electronic organ will make its public debut at Trinity Church, on Thursday evening, Sept. 11, 2003, in a performance of William Albright's oratorio "A Song to David,'' for chorus, soloists, narrators and organ. The instrument replaces the church's old Aeolian Skinner pipe organ, which was all but destroyed in the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. Dr. Owen Burdick, organist and music director at Trinity Church, Sept. 5, 2003. (Don Hogan Charles/The New York Times)
