(NYT11) NEW YORK -- Aug. 7, 2002 -- CIR-EMAIL-THEATER -- For many people, e-mail is simply a part of daily life. But few stop to ponder what happens to their message once they hit Send. "In the Wire,'' a new play being presented this month as part of the New York International Fringe Festival, seeks to change that. It is the brainchild of husband and wife, Joshua Putnam Peskay, 30, Jessica Putnam Peskay, 29 and Matthew A. Peskay, 25. In addition to having a chance to work together, the three wanted to pursue a play about technology and the Internet. A scene from "In the Wire." (Carol Halebian/The New York Times)
