(NYT23) DENVER -- July 3, 2002 -- DENVER-ART-THEATERS -- For almost 30 years, Denver's movie buffs made do with eight movie screens for foreign and independent films. But since two theaters with a total of 12 screens for art films opened this spring, there are now 20 screens, and their theaters are promoting ways to enhance the moviegoing experience.
