(NYT30) UNDATED -- Feb. 14, 2003 -- Adv. for Sun., Feb. 16 -- TERROR-TAPE -- As you might imagine, these are heady days at the Pressure Sensitive Tape Council in Northbrook, Ill. As hardware stores around the country experienced runs on duct tape, Glen Anderson, the council's executive vice president of the trade group, voiced mixed feelings about the tape's sudden summons to national security. With due respect for the Office Department of Homeland Security, he said, duct might not be the best tape for the job. A roll of duct tape. (David Corio/The New York Times)
