(NYT9) NEW YORK -- Jan. 12, 2003 -- NY-GREEK-CROSS -- The congregation of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, destroyed on Sept. 11, celebrated an annual tradition in Battery Park City in Lower Manhattan, Sunday, Jan. 12, 2003, marking the baptism of Jesus by watching divers retrieve a cross from the Hudson.
