(NYT24) UNDATED -- Nov. 29, 2002 -- BUYTV -- Late-night talk shows have long been a refuge for stars hoping to make a comeback. It's no different for Scott Blum, one of the most brash of the dot-com entrepreneurs, who founded Buy.com. Blum, however, is not only appearing on talk shows. He intends to start one - a show that would combine the motifs of late-night television with the sort of hawking normally associated with the Home Shopping Channel. Scott Blum of BuyTV, with his wife, being interviewed by Joan Rivers on E! Entertainment Television on the night of the 2002 Academy Awards. (The New York Times)
