(NYT26) NEW YORK -- Oct. 21, 2002 -- NY-BRIDGE-SALE -- Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg might just sell the Brooklyn Bridge -- and the Manhattan, Williamsburg and Queensboro Bridges, too. His administration is seriously considering a plan to sell or lease the city-owned East River bridges to the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, as part of a plan to impose tolls that would help both the city and the authority with budget problems.
