Rolnictwo w Afryce - Noor Images
Ethiopia, 04 November 2013 Sara Omot, (does not know her age), Ariet Agol (does not know her age), Ajulu Agwa, 25 and her 2 daughters from the village of Karmi in Gambella weed a small rice nursery set up by the government to teach villagers how to cultivate rice. The village of Karmi in Gambella lies besides the Baro River. The Anuak people living there were relocated to the site as part of the Government ???Villagisation??? program that seeks to bring, according the Ethiopian Government, essential services to the people of Gambella. Human rights groups complain that the people were forcibly removed and that many have suffered a deterioration in their lifestyle since. Robin Hammond / NOOR
