On the extraordinary repair completion on Sunday, December 5, 1999, at 11:07 a.m. the output of electric power on the 3rd reactor of the Chernobyl NPS was renewed. On November 27 the power-unit renewed its work after the 5-month repair. The unit was stopped in the course of the water leak (the defect of one of the pipes in the rector department.
