2JCARG0 Jewish prisoners of Gesiowka, a German-Nazi Camp in Warsaw liberated in August 5, 1944 by Polish soldiers from Battalion Zoska of Home Army in the beginning of Warsaw Uprising. Many of these released prisoners joined the Home Army. The Warsaw Uprising was a massive attempt by the Polish Home Army to defeat the Wehrmacht and SS Occupation towards the end of WW2.
