Leonidas Alexis, MD, with Doctors Without Borders (MSF) tends to a girl from Afghanistan during a general check up in a triage tent at the MSF field clinic Monday, Feb. 4, 2019, in Lesbos, Greece. She is a part of a refugee family of five, living in the Moria refugee camp run by the Greek Ministry of Migration nearby, and came in for a general checkup with her family. They were on the road from Afghanistan for three months, and have now been at Moria camp over a month, leaving Afghanistan after being chased by at least two terror groups, according the father of the family. Concerns have been raised by those observing conditions at the camp, including MSF clinical psychiatrist Dr Alessandro Barberio. He states: "Moria camp, in Lesbos, has a maximum capacity of 3,100 people, but is bursting at the seams, with just over 6,000 (revised Feb, 2019) people. A third of them are children, living in appalling conditions, which are contributing to a considerable deterioration of their physical and mental health."
