The family had to leave their village because Buddist neighbours would not ket the family work so they had to flee to the camp to find food The Rohingya were stripped of their their citizenship in 1982 and have suffered a long persection at the hands of the governemnt and Buddhist nationalists. In recent years they have been forced from their villages and put into camps. Many thave fled to other countries including neigboring Bangladesh, where there are an estimated 400,000 Rohingya refugees
