Sweden, Gotland, October 7th 2017 A soldier pretending to be wounded is watched over by another as they wait for the medics to arrive during a defense drill. The drills prepare recruits for scenarios including explosions and car accidents and how to treat explosion wounds and trauma. Until quite recently, the Swedish defence forces have concentrated internationally, in Afghanistan and Mali for example. Today, the focus is on national defence and a new type of problem that comes from explosions to a greater extent. Loulou d'Aki / Agence VU
