Lud Rohingya w Bangladeszu - Redux
Noor Yasmin, Humaira (behind) Noor Bahar, Samira and Rajia looking at the translator's phone (L to R). These girls were photographed 8 months after I did series of portraits of children (including them) at CFS 2 BaluKahli Rohingya refugee camp, in Cox'S Bazar, Bangladesh. The asked to be interviewed as a group rather than individually. The ensuing conversation revealed their concern with their impending adolescence and the restrictions that would soon be placed on them by Rohingya Muslim tradition, as well as a description of their experiences as refugees.
