Iraq, Kurdistan, Bakhdida, 16 November 2016 Qaraqosh, Al-Hamdanya or Bakhdida, three names for the city of ghost. Qaraqosh is an Assyrian city in northern Iraq within the Nineveh Governorate. It is located about 32?km (20?min) southeast of the city of Mosul and 60?km west of Erbil. Amid agricultural lands, it is close to the ruins of the ancient Assyrian cities Nimrud and Nineveh. It is connected to the main city of Mosul by two main roads. Qaraqosh was ravaged by ISIS, who seized it in June 2014 as they rampaged across parts of northern Iraq. The terrorist group has been expelled from Qaraqosh in October 2016. The church Al Tahiray. Qaraqosh a ete ravagee par Daesh qui l'a saisie en juin 2014 quand ils ont envahi l'Irak du nord. Le groupe terroriste a ete expulse de Qaraqosh en octobre 2016. L'eglise Al Tahiray. Vanda, 25 ans revient pour visiter sa maison r 5 minutes de l'eglise, avec sa soeur Marva, 16 ans, et sa mcre, aprcs 2 ans et 4 mois. Toutes les eglises ont ete saccagees.
