Professional boxer Stanley Nyantakyi, also known as Asante Warrior, trains at Bronx Boxing Gym in the Jamestown neighbourhood of Accra on December 11, 2024. A network of gyms is teaching the noble art of boxing in just one small Accra district that has become known internationally as a mecca for the sport. More than a dozen small gyms are scattered throughout the winding sidestreets of the hardscrabble Jamestown district and its Bukom neighbourhood near the city's Atlantic Ocean fishing port.
